S1 Reflection & S2 Goals

Looking back at some of my first semester work is slightly difficult to look at, if I am to be entirely honest. Throughout my entire first semester, I learned so many skills and techniques, what to and not do, and certain ways to attempt different tasks. It has been such a journey so far. I have made noticeable progress in my change  of skill set, and I intend to continue progressing. I want to spend more time this semester on my glazing abilities, which I felt like had been lacking in my work prior to very recently. I also want to work on making the final products of my work smoother when done, maybe running them over with a sponge first before I fire them.

I also want to be more creative in my future choice projects as well- not just making things that I think are pretty, but are also useful as gifts or functional pieces and whatnot.
